Kuwaiti rider wins third place in World Aquabike GP Championship

KUWAIT, Sept 19: Kuwaiti rider Rashid Al-Dawas won third place in the GP3 category in the first round of the 2021 World Aquabike Championships, which concluded on Sunday evening on the Italian island of Sardinia. In a statement to KUNA, Al-Dawas expressed his great happiness with this new achievement and raising the flag of Kuwait on the podium, which is attended by a number of the most prominent competitors from different continents, which is organized by the International Federation for Marine Motorsports (UEM).

He added that he was close to achieving first place, but some sudden malfunctions prevented that, explaining that he topped the first stage on the first day of the championship, which started on the 17th of this month, he hopes to compensate in the upcoming rounds to ascend the podiums and raise the country’s flag. He further stated that he will participate in the annual World Championship organized in the US state of Arizona next month.
