Kuwaiti judge Al-Attar selected for Asian Weightlifting Championship judging panel

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 31: The Asian Weightlifting Federation has selected Kuwaiti judge Ashwaq Al-Attar to join the judging panel for the upcoming Asian Weightlifting Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, scheduled from February 3 to 10.Al-Attar’s nomination by the Continental Federation is a recognition of her extensive experience and expertise in the field of weightlifting refereeing. Today, Al-Hikma Al-Attar embarks on her journey to Tashkent to actively participate in the Asian Forum.

With a history of officiating in various international and continental championships, including the Asian Weightlifting Championship for junior and youth categories held in India last summer, Al-Attar brings a wealth of knowledge to the judging panel. Notably, she has previously participated in the Arab Weightlifting Championship for youth and juniors held in Egypt last October.

The tournament in Tashkent will see the participation of 17 Arab countries, with the absence of Sudan, Morocco, and Palestine. This marks another significant opportunity for Al-Attar to contribute her expertise to the sport on the international stage.
