KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti, who is believed to be in his 50s for killing his compatriot, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the man was allegedly murdered inside his house in Rabiya because of previous disputes between them.

The suspect crushed the man’s skull with a hammer. The daily said after the security authorities received a report on the incident; police and personnel from the Emergency Medical Services rushed to the spot and saw the man’s smashed head.

The arrest came after the CID men saw the CCTV footage from cameras installed in the area and calls received and made from the phones of both men. During interrogations, the man admitted to the crime and showed police the murder weapon. The daily added, the Public Prosecution may request the suspect to re-enact the crime.
