KUWAIT CITY, Aug 21: The Kuwait U-20 national team secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Al-Jazeera in a friendly match held at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium’s secondary field.
Abdullah Al-Rashidi, Mubarak Al-Ajmi, and Abdullah Al-Eibani were on target for the youth team.
Kuwait’s senior national team coach, Portuguese Helio Sousa, attended the match to follow the team’s performance.
Kuwait is now gearing up for the Gulf Youth Cup in Abha, starting on August 28. Kuwait is drawn in Group A with Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen, while Group B features Oman, Iraq, Bahrain, and Egypt, which is participating as a replacement for the UAE.
