KUWAIT CITY, June 18: The Public Authority for Industry (PAI) reaffirmed on Wednesday the critical importance of securing major factories in the Al-Shuaiba Industrial Area, particularly those housing strategic reserves of food, water, and medicine, while ensuring the safety of employees and operational continuity at its main building and external branches.

This emphasis came during a meeting of the Authority's emergency committee, held under the directives of Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifa Al-Ajeel. Acting Director General Jarallah Al-Dosari, who presided over the meeting, noted that the session focused on strengthening precautionary measures in light of the fast-evolving regional situation.

Al-Dosari stated that the PAI remains committed to safeguarding both human resources and vital infrastructure, stressing the need for unified efforts to effectively manage any potential emergencies. He added that the Authority has activated emergency response teams, implemented evacuation plans, and established a dedicated hotline for rapid communication and coordination with relevant agencies to ensure full field readiness.
