Kuwait State Audit Bureau wants closer ties with Asian inspectors

TOKYO, Feb 26, (KUNA): Kuwait’s State Audit Bureau (SAB) said on Monday it is eager to boost cooperation with its Asian partners after it gained membership in the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions’ (ASOSAI) executive council.

Top Kuwaiti auditors are in the midst of a visit to Japan as part of efforts to get some insight into the Land of the Rising Sun’s experiences in the audit industry, SAB said in a statement. Likewise, the Kuwaiti auditors will share some their secrets to success in adopting some of the most cutting-edge inspection programs, the statement added. The talks will allow the Kuwaiti state audit the chance to demonstrate its compliance with environmental regulations, besides discussing some of its most significant projects, dealing with aspects such as water sustainability, it said.
