Kuwait Society for Fine Arts hosts ‘Al-Baghli for the Righteous Son – in Fine Arts’ annual competition

With distinguished artistic paintings, numbering 40, and their styles varied between drawings, graphic and collage (pasting scraps), 39 artists have created an aspect of the special relationship between children and their parents in a unique language and an artistic vision entitled ‘Gratitude for the sacrifices of parents for the sake of the children.’

The paintings that were on display in the sidelines of the exhibition accompanying the annual competition ‘Al-Baghli for the Righteous Son – in Fine Arts’, which was launched Wednesday, at the headquarters of the Kuwait Society for Fine Arts, varied between diagnosis and abstraction, while the artists’ creations reflected the role of the mother as an icon.

The head of the Fine Arts Society, the artist Abdul Rasoul Salman, praised in a speech during the opening ceremony the paintings participating in the competition, as they “reflect the role of art and its impact on society as an influential tool for presenting and promoting values and expressing his conscience to carry his dreams and concerns and reflect his interests and issues.” (KUNA)
