KUWAIT CITY, June 20: The Kuwait junior volleyball team is set to compete in its first championship for the under-17 team, scheduled in Amman, Jordan from July 1 to 13. The team will kick off its campaign against Qatar on July 4, followed by matches against Iraq on July 4, Jordan on July 7, Bahrain on the eighth, and Libya on July 10, and conclude against Saudi Arabia on July 11.

The Arab Volleyball Federation conducted the championship draw via video call, involving the participating teams.

Preparations for the Arab Championship are underway with local training sessions led by national coach Khaled Al-Mutairi and assistant Meshal Al-Sabti. The team will depart for Jordan a few days before the tournament.
