KUWAIT CITY, Aug 20: The decision to prevent passengers arriving from 31 restricted countries to Kuwait due to health reasons directly or via transit, unless they reside in non-restricted countries for at least 14 days, constituted a missed important opportunity for hotels and companies in Kuwait, reports Al Rai.
Travel agencies quickly created packages for passengers from 31 restricted countries and helped them to reside in non-restricted countries for a period of 14 days with a return trip to Kuwait.
Many expat passengers from restricted countries entered Kuwait in the last 3 days after spending 14 to 17 days in countries like UAE and Qatar. Airlines in the region are taking advantage of this situation of ban implemented by Kuwait.
