KUWAIT CITY, June 9: Nearly 29,000 boxes of beer were seized by Kuwait Customs authorities. The contraband was discovered within a 40-foot container initially declared as containing energy drinks from an Asian country. Customs inspectors conducted a thorough examination of the container, revealing the concealed beer. Subsequently, the illicit goods were handed over to the relevant authorities for further action.
In response to the incident, the General Administration of Customs issued a stern warning against individuals involved in the smuggling of narcotic substances and prohibited goods. The message emphasized the stringent measures in place to combat such illicit activities and underscored the consequences for those engaged in smuggling operations.
