KUWAIT CITY, Sept 14: Official spokesperson of Kuwait Credit Bank (KCB) Habari Al-Khashti announced that the bank has obtained a certificate (ISO/IEC 27001:2013) in Information Security Management from the International Organization for Standardization, reports Al-Qabas daily. This certificate is the international standard on how to establish an information security management system in a reliable and appropriate manner, which protects financial and confidential data and prevents illegal usage.

One of the most important features of the information management system is that it enables the executive management to identify risks and set appropriate controls to eliminate risks, work flexibly and secure customer information that is tantamount gaining customers’ trust. Al-Khashti stated that the bank’s acquisition of the certificate is the result of the vision of its executive management and the application of the rules on corporate governance. He affirmed this is a continuation of the vision and approach of the executive management in digital transformation and working with professional rules in accordance with international standards
