Kuwait attracts investments

KUWAIT CITY, Feb: Assistant Director General for Business Development at Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Mohammad Yacoub said that Kuwait attracted $800 million direct foreign investments in 2018, pointing out the amount of investments is the biggest in the GCC, reports Al-Anba daily. Speaking to the daily, Yacoub disclosed that KDIPA has been contacting with international entities to transfer their experiences to the local market and benefit from them. He said the authority is finalizing discussions with many agencies, but it decided to keep quiet and make the announcement after getting the investment license.
