KUWAIT CITY, Jun 6: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Sharida Al-Maousherji, has announced the approval of 15,000 new jobs for registered male and female job seekers. The job allocation plan is based on academic specialization and ensures fairness through criteria such as qualifications, GPA, and age. This decision follows directives from His Highness the Emir, requiring state agencies to submit their job needs for approval. Additionally, the Council approved amendments for patient companions abroad and established the "Kuwait National Center for Disease Prevention and Control."

Al-Maousherji stated this plan addresses overlooked specializations and will be updated semi-annually. The new rules for patient companions abroad now allow a full year with full salary to support patients and their families. The establishment of the "Kuwait National Center for Disease Prevention and Control" is part of the Ministry of Health's efforts to enhance the public health system.
