KUWAIT CITY, Mar 25:  The General Administration of Civil Aviation has projected that the number of passengers traveling during the Eid al-Fitr holiday will soar to 273,000, with a total of 2,037 flights scheduled. Abdullah Al-Rajhi, the official spokesperson for the General Administration of Aviation and Director of the Air Transport Department, revealed that popular destinations among travelers during this period are expected to include Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, Istanbul, and Doha.

Al-Rajhi further disclosed that the upcoming summer season will witness the introduction of new airlines operating to and from Kuwait International Airport. Among these are Acacia India and Air Italy, along with Sun Express, which has already commenced operations since the current winter season.
