KUWAIT CITY, June 22: According to informed sources, the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) succeeded in attracting new investments worth about KD 106 million from eight new companies during the last period, reports Al-Anba daily.

They said that the cumulative number of approvals granted by the authority to companies by the end of March 2021 amounted to 59, adding, “That number has now risen to 67 approvals by eight new companies”. The sources highlighted the fact that the value of investments rose from KD 1.203 billion at the end of March 2021 to about KD 1.309 billion currently, with an increase of KD 106.1 million.
