Jordan defeats Kuwait in women’s handball

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 8: The Kuwaiti women’s handball team lost to Jordan, 35-16, in the AFC President’s Cup held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

Kuwait will meet Iraq day after tomorrow (Friday). The tournament is a league system where two matches are played against each team and points are earned. Total of 4 teams are participating in this event. The Kuwaiti women’s handball team, along with the teams of Jordan, Iraq and India, will participate in this tournament held in Al-Hussein Youth City in the Jordanian capital, Amman, until February 14.

Jordan and India lead this tournament with 6 points each, India’s national team was defeated by Iraq today 40 to 13 goals
