Indian products pulled out from Ardiya Co-Operative shelves

KUWAIT CITY, June 6: Islamophobic comments made by Nupur Sharma an top official of India’s ruling party of Bhartiya Janata Party about Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) lead to removing of Indian products in Ardiya Co-Operative Society spices, tea, sacks of rice and chilies were covered with plastic sheets.  

Nasser Al Mutairi Ceo of Al Ardiya Cooperative Society stated the “We boycotted Indian products because of insults to the Prophet. We ask Kuwaiti Muslim people do not accept insulting the Prophet” Othe Gulf countries have also condemned the remarks made by the official who is now only suspended by the ruling party. 

A customer at the cooperative stated that “Boycotting Indian products in obligatory for every Muslim and every country because it is the matter concerning the Prophet, all Islamic countries and Muslims must boycott Indian products so that our reaction has a big impact.
