In a statement posted on Instagram, the 35-year-old addressed the reasons behind her decision, citing her prioritization of mental health and well-being.

In her Instagram post, Brooke wrote, "Many of you are aware of my preference for privacy, but unfortunately, various media outlets have been making assumptions about why I chose not to attend my father's third wedding. Rather than allowing these speculations to persist, I've decided to provide clarity here."

She went on to acknowledge the ever-evolving dynamics within families, including her own, and the challenges that come with navigating these changes in the public eye. "Our family has undergone significant changes, all while being scrutinized by the public. Adapting to these circumstances has been immensely challenging," Brooke shared.

Brooke further explained, "In my pursuit of healing and happiness, I've made the conscious decision to create some distance from my family. Instead, I am focusing on individuals and pursuits that bring solace to my heart and resonate with my personal beliefs, aspirations, and values."

Despite the differences in personal beliefs that have created a divide between her and her father, Brooke concluded her post with a positive and warm message for him, saying, "I wish him well," accompanied by a heart emoji. The retired professional wrestler had recently tied the knot with his 45-year-old fiancée, Sky Daily, on September 22nd, in a ceremony held at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Florida.
