Honest Egyptian taxi driver returns KD1,800

KUWAIT CITY, March 18: An Egyptian taxi driver set a perfect example of honesty by returning 1,800 dinars to a customer who had forgotten it in his car when he took the customer from Sharq to Hawalli, reports Al-Rai daily.

When the taxi driver Hamada Hashem found the money he posted a clip in the social media and left behind his phone number which enabled the passenger to get his money back. When the Al-Rai daily contacted the driver he said the passenger was an elderly compatriot man and he said he worked as rent collector.

He said when the person contacted him on the telephone number which he had posted in the social media, the man called him and he handed over the money after he recognized him
