Home quarantine period will not be deducted from annual leave

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 8: Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) recently issued instructions regarding the home quarantine period for its employees traveling abroad, reports Al-Anba daily. In a press statement, KPC announced that in the event an employee travels on official training mission or treatment during the coronavirus outbreak; the home quarantine period upon his return to the country will be considered ‘precautionary’ leave and will not be deducted from his annual leave balance. If an employee goes on annual leave at the end of the week or during official holidays, the home quarantine period upon his return to the country shall be deducted from his annual leave balance, KPC added.
