KUWAIT CITY, Jan 1: Farwaniya Equestrian Club witnessed strong competition among the participating stables in the six rounds held in Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Horse Racing Track with a huge number of horse racing fans in attendance.In the 1,200-meter category, the horse, Ghalib Al-Ez, from Farmawi Stable won the sixth round cup registering 1:17:47, whereas the second place was taken by Jabbar from Shallahi stable and the third was Karar from Abu Sheiba stable.The horse, Ghala Mubarak, from Aweedh stable came first in the fifth round cup for 2,400 meters clocking 2:46:67, followed by Fuhaidan from Dabaan stable and third was Hatlan from Zamnan stable.The fourth round cup for 1,400 meters was won by Tirhal from Farmawi stable clocking 1:30:55, the third round cup (2,000 meters) was won by Rahi from Adheela stable, the second round cup (1,200 meters) by Mikhrab from Khalidi and Abdali stable, and the first round cup (1,000 meters) by Mukhtar from Sanween stable.Board Chairman of Farwaniya Equestrian Club Mubarak Al-Daihaani and the board members honored the winning stables, praising the high level of competition displayed by the participants throughout the race.
