French police officer stabbed near Paris

PARIS, April 23 (KUNA) — A police officer was stabbed to death on Friday in the commune of Rambouillet near the capital Paris. French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said on Twitter “A police officer was the victim of a knife attack at the Rambouillet police station.” The minister indicated that he was heading to the scene of the crime. According to a news source, the police have shot and killed the assailant without providing further details on the incident.
