Flat destroyed in Salmiya fire

KUWAIT CITY, July 9:Fire broke out in a flat of a ninestoried building in Salmiya area. No casualties were reported but material losses were incurred. According to a press statement issued by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD), when the Control Room of KFSD received information about a flat on fire, firefighters rushed to the location with securitymen and paramedics and discovered that the fire broke out in a flat on the second floor of the building. After evacuating all the tenants from the building, the fire was extinguished before it spread to nearby flats. Investigations have been launched to determine the cause of the fire
