Filipina maid caught with 26 kgs of drugs – Sponsor unaware

KUWAIT CITY, May 12: A Filipina was arrested with a parcel of 26 kgs Larica powder coming in from a Gulf country. Investigations are being carried out to find out the identity of the manufacturers of that powder who are responsible for peddling into the local market.

The Drug enforcement received information about a parcel which had arrived from a Gulf country containing a narcotic substance and the parcel was received by a Filipino who works as a maid, reports Al Anba. The permission was obtained to arrest the maid who was arrested from her sponsors home where narcotic powder was found. The sponsor was unaware that his maid was a drug dealer. Further investigations are underway to find out the identity of her connections inside Kuwait.
