KUWAIT CITY, March 18: Jockey Fawaz Al-Subaie emerged as the champion of the prestigious Khaled Abdullah Al-Saeed Show Jumping Championship, held at the Hawalli Equestrian Club with participation from riders representing various local clubs.

In the main event, the exhilarating "Grand Prix" race, set at a height of 140 cm, Al-Subaie clinched the top position with an impressive time of 55.07 seconds. Not only did he secure first place, but he also claimed third place. Following closely behind, rider Abdullah Al-Awadhi secured second place, while Italian rider Antonio Moroso secured fourth place. Belarusian rider Pavel Voronko, Ghazi Al-Jariwi, Khaled Al-Khubaizi, along with tournament sponsor Khaled Al-Saeed and Hamad Al-Sayer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Warba Bank, crowned the victorious riders during the grand prize ceremony.

Expressing his thoughts after the conclusion of the championship, sponsor Khaled Al-Saeed stated, "We organized this tournament to serve and support male and female riders, aiming to inspire them to continue their journey in this noble sport." He highlighted the intense competition witnessed across all categories and stages, reaffirming the commitment to bolster equestrian sports in the forthcoming years.

In the earlier heats, Stephen Daniels showcased his prowess by securing first place at a height of 125 cm, while also claiming the top spot in the second heat at a height of 115 cm.
