KUWAIT CITY, Feb 2: The Sentences Enforcement Department has arrested the inmate of the Central Prison who had escaped from the Farwaniya Hospital who allegedly hoodwinked his guard and escaped unnoticed.
According to a security source, the man who is serving a 6-year prison term for drug cases was taken to the Farwaniya Hospital for treatment, but he managed to escape.
Hours after his escape the security authorities were able to arrest him from his hideout in Jahra in the home of one of his relatives. The daily added a fresh case has been filed against the prisoner while investigations are continuing how the men escaped although he was being treated under guard; the guardsmen face harsh punishment.
