KUWAIT CITY, June 24: Nuwaiseeb recently topped the list of 15 cities that recorded the highest temperatures in the world. The list had eight cities of Kuwait including Nuwaiseeb, as well as three Iraqi cities and four Iranian cities. The list was published by the international “El Dorado weather forecast” website, which specializes in monitoring temperatures.

The order of those cities with the highest temperatures was as follows - Nuwaiseeb which recorded a temperature of 53.2 degrees Celsius, Ahwaz and Umaydiya (Iran) 50.1 degrees Celsius, Jahra 49.7 degrees Celsius, Sulaibiya 49.2 degrees Celsius, Amarah (Iraq) 49 degrees Celsius, Mutribah 49 degrees Celsius, Abadan (Iran) 48.9 degrees Celsius, Kuwait International Airport 48.8 degrees Celsius, SafiAbad Dezful (Iran) 48.8 degrees Celsius, Abdali 48.7 degrees Celsius, Basra International Airport 48.6 degrees Celsius, Faw (Iraq) 48.6 degrees Celsius, Wafra 48.5 degrees Celsius, and finally Subbiya in Kuwait with 48.5 degrees Celsius.
