KUWAIT CITY, Nov 9: Police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti for stabbing an Egyptian youth six times on various parts of his body, reports Al-Anba daily. According to a security source the complaint has been filed with the police by the victim’s sister working for the Ministry of Health. In her complaint to the Omariya Police Station, the sister said the Kuwaiti youth driving a 2016 model car worth KD 40,000 chased her brother from Salmiya until they reached Omariya. The suspect forced her brother to pull over and continued assaulting him until a Kuwaiti, working for the Council of Ministers intervened and called the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior and waited at the scene of the attack until the ambulance arrived. During interrogation the Kuwaiti youth said he stabbed the Egyptian because he was staring at him and also for insulting him.
Drunkard jailed: Police have put behind bars an unidentified 42-yearold Kuwaiti for consuming alcohol and damaging state property, reports Al-Anba daily. A security source said the man was arrested when he went to the Nugra Police Station to file a complaint and insisted on meeting the officer. Immediately after entering the office of the senior officer, the man lost his temper, began shouting and hit the table so hard that the glass broke. Police later discovered the man was under the influence of alcohol.
