KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: Two Egyptian expatriates were arrested in Farwaniya area in possession of drugs and hashish. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling the area when they suspected a vehicle with two occupants and ordered the driver to pull over. They checked their details and discovered they are Egyptian expatriates. Noticing their nervousness, securitymen searched them and found drugs and hashish in their possession. They were arrested and referred with the drugs and hashish to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen who is wanted by law for three criminal lawsuits was arrested in a drunken state in Firdous area, and referred to the concerned authorities. Drug addicts caught: Police have arrested two Kuwaitis for possessing and consuming drugs, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the drug addicts were fast asleep inside their car in a shelter which is made for pilgrims to take rest while on their way to perform the pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
