Egypt identifies Cairo victim as Egyptian, not Kuwaiti

KUWAIT, March 4: The Kuwait Embassy in Egypt has been following up on what has been circulated on social media regarding the killing of a Kuwaiti national at Haram area in west of Cairo.

Egypt’s security personnel’s after identifying the man, who was found dead earlier Friday at Al-Haram Area in Giza, west of Cairo, was an “Egyptian, and not Kuwaiti”, Kuwait Embassy in Cairo said.

In a statement, the embassy expressed sincere thanks to Egyptian authorities for their cooperation and for immediately informing it of the victim’s identity. Earlier a Kuwaiti man was reported to have been killed near the Egyptian Pyramids in Giza Governorate. (KUNA)
