KUWAIT CITY, May 9: As the 2023/2024 academic year draws to a close, the Ministry of Education is finalizing preparations for the upcoming end-of-year exams set to commence on May 15. Educational sources have disclosed to Al-Jarida that authorities are actively considering rotation procedures for heads and members of monitoring committees overseeing the twelfth-grade exams, slated to begin on the 29th of this month.

Efforts are underway to bolster monitoring procedures within these committees to thwart any potential cheating. Additionally, there’s a concerted focus on enhancing coordination with the Ministry of Interior to clamp down on entities disseminating exam papers and question solutions.

Furthermore, the formation of monitoring and correction committees is in progress, with selection criteria being meticulously evaluated. Notably, applications to join these committees have been received through the Education website for the first time in the department’s history.

While primary school students are wrapping up their academic year, with summer vacation starting after today’s session, school administrations will continue operations until July 1st. Expectations are that primary students’ results and academic certificates will be issued by the end of the following week.

In parallel, middle schools have concluded administering tests outside the regular schedule for their students. The focus now shifts to the commencement of end-of-year tests on Wednesday, the 15th of this month. Both tenth and eleventh-grade students are slated to begin their exams on the same date.

The Ministry of Education has designated the 29th of this month as the start date for twelfth-grade exams, with the scientific section scheduled to conclude on June 9th. For students in the literary section, exams will conclude on June 10th. Anticipated results announcement is set for June 12th, via a press conference led by the Minister of Education and ministry leaders.
