KUWAIT CITY, June 26: A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested in Qosur area in possession of 400 “Larika” pills and some other types of drugs, says Al- Seyassah. According to security sources, Mubarak Al-Kabeer securitymen received information about a disoriented man sitting inside his vehicle in Qosur area and rushed to the location. The man tried to fl ee but securitymen caught him. They checked his details and discovered he is a Kuwaiti citizen, and found “Larika” drugs in his possession. He was arrested and referred with the confiscated narcotic pills to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action.Meanwhile, Customs officers at the Nuwaiseeb border post recently foiled the attempt of a Saudi man to smuggle 64 cartons of cigarettes into Saudi Arabia, reports Annahar daily. The man was arrested on suspicion after he arrived at the border post. He feigned sickness and requested the officer to complete procedures soon to help him get back to Saudi Arabia. Police then searched his car and saw the cigarette packets neatly hidden inside the décor of his car.
