Doctor, nutritionist drown in swimming pool

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 17: Two Egyptian women drowned in the swimming pool of a residential building. According to security sources, there is no criminal intent behind the incident due to which Ministry of Interior closed the file after detectives conducted necessary investigations and the forensic report was submitted. The two Egyptian women worked in Al-Taiba Hospital, one as a doctor and the other one as a nutritionist. The swimming pool in which they drowned was of the building in which they lived in.

Kuwaiti perishes: A Kuwaiti died and two others sustained injuries when the Jeep they were riding collided with a cement mixer truck on Salmi Motorway. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Unit at the Interior Ministry received information on the accident. When the rescuers arrived at the location, they found the three Kuwaitis trapped inside the wrecked Jeep which collided with the truck. One of them was already dead, while the other two sustained multiple injuries so they were taken to Jahra Hospital. Meanwhile, an Arab woman was admitted to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital as she suffered face injuries when she figured in a traffic accident in Maidan Hawally.

GCC citizen dead: A GCC national died and another sustained serious injuries in a serious traffic accident that took place on Salmi Road, reports Al-Anba daily. The corpse of the deceased was referred to the Forensics Department while the injured victim was referred to Jahra Hospital where he was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit. Meanwhile, the vehicle driven by an unknown individual collided with a trailer driven by a Pakistani expatriate, resulting in the death of the unknown motorist. Six civil IDs, a driving license, two vehicle permits and a Samsung mobile phone were found in his possession. Investigations have been launched to identify the deceased.
