KUWAIT CITY, Oct 5: The Criminal Court decided to extend the detention of the Egyptian teacher, identified only as N.M., until Jan 9, 2020, reports Al-Anba daily.

The Prosecution has charged the teacher with the death of a student but two medical reports issued by two medical committees said the death had occurred not because of the beating but due to health reasons.

The defendant was referred to trial after being interrogated by the Prosecution on four counts of beating resulting in death, ill-treatment of a child, insulting him and his mother, all of which the teacher has denied.
