KUWAIT CITY, Feb 10:  There are concerns among health authorities about celebrations and gathering during national holidays which could increase infection cases and put pressure on intensive care units in the country. There is a possibility of curfew to be introduced before holidays.
The proposal will be tabled on the cabinet ministers where the decision will be taken tomorrow (Thursday) after consulting health and economic authorities. The discussion will be a most important step to agree on a mechanism to prevent gathering and celebrations, report Al Qabas. The  government has decided to be patient in retreating from closing some activities. Decrease in infection will lead to return of some activities with health precautions.

The sources revealed that the meeting of the Health Committee with the Council of Ministers which will include Health, Interior and Civil Aviation is expected to give recommendations. MP Saadoun Hammad, said "The committee discussed with representatives of the Ministry of Health seeking reasons for the recent closure decision to combat pandemic and availability of vaccines in batches, as we are committed to re-open the activities, otherwise we will submit a proposal to Law Ministry to compensate Kuwaiti citizens whose stores are closed"
