Cracking Down on Drug Traffickers: 24 Expats Arrested

In a series of 16 separate cases, 24 expats of various nationalities have been arrested for their involvement in illicit activities. They were found in possession of various drugs totaling around 16 kilograms, including narcotics such as Shabu (Crystal Meth), Hashish, Heroin, and Cocaine. Additionally, these individuals had 10,000 psychotropic pills in their possession. To add to their transgressions, 80 bottles of imported alcohol were confiscated, along with 3 unlicensed firearms and ammunition.

These arrests are part of the ongoing commitment of the criminal security sector to uphold the law, enhance security measures, and apprehend those responsible for promoting and dealing with harmful substances, ultimately ensuring the safety of the public.

Upon confrontation with the evidence seized from them, the defendants admitted to the ownership of the confiscated items, revealing their intent to engage in trafficking and abuse. As a result, they, along with the seized items, have been referred to the appropriate legal authorities to initiate the necessary legal actions against them.
