Changing Salary on “Iznamel” Work Permit

My company renewed my residence and rather than putting KD 613 as the current salary they put it as old salary which is KD 596. Can the work permit be changed? Can I apply for the driving license based on the fact and letter from the company stating salary is 600 plus even though on the work permit it’s KD 596?

Answer: Answer: We are sorry, but you cannot change the work permit now. You can only change it to have the correct salary reflect in it when your residence permit is due for renewal.
The Traffic Department only deals with the salary quoted on the work permit. You can therefore not apply for a driving licence since your monthly salary is below the KD 600 per month threshold.
