Campsite Kuwaiti thieves nabbed

KUWAIT CITY, March 10: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Ahmadi branch have arrested two young Kuwaitis for stealing vehicles and power generators and other equipment from campsites off the Seventh Ring Road and Kabad, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, after the police stations in the area received several complaints about theft, police put the area under surveillance. The daily pointed out that investigations carried out by CID men, led them identify the suspects and raided their hideout.

The CID men prior to storming their hideout off the Seventh Ring Road observed unusual activity and found inside their camp 3 stolen cars, power generators and other heavy equipment. One of the vehicles had been dismantled and they were in the process of preparing the spare parts for sale. During interrogation the suspects have admitted to the charges filed against them
