KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: Customs officers at the Nuwaiseeb border port have seized hashish, about two and- a-half kilos and narcotics pills from one of the cars that attempted to smuggle narcotics into the country, reports Al- Anba daily.
According to the security sources the vehicle arrived at the crossing point and after it was subjected to a thorough search inspectors found 3 bags of hashish, in addition to 68 ‘Xanx’ pills and 3 and a half ‘seroquel’ pills – a short-acting antipsychotic drug.
It’s used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar I disorder and as an add-on treatment for major depression and generalized anxiety disorder in people who haven’t responded to other therapies – and a cigarette rolled with drugs. The driver of the vehicle has been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control (GDDC).
