Amir leaves to US – El-Sisi leaves following talks

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 1, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is scheduled to depart to the United States of America on Monday.

His Highness the Amir is heading to the US on a private visit, then he will proceed to Washington for an official visit where he will hold official talks with US President Donald Trump on Sept 12.

Meanwhile, Egyptian President Abdelfattah el-Sisi and his official delegation concluded the official visit to the country on Sunday.

The Egyptian president during the visit held official talks with His Highness the Amir. The Egyptian president and his entourage were seen off at the airport by His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and other senior State officials.

His Highness the Amir, along with senior Kuwaiti officials, held talks on Sunday with the Egyptian leader and a delegation accompanying him. His Highness the Amir, with His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah by his side, led the discussions on the Kuwaiti side while el-Sisi headed the Egyptian delegation.

The talks revolved around matters of mutual concern and the latest happenings around the world, according to the Acting Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Mohammad Daifallah Sharar
