Amir out of hospital, Arab leaders call – Checkup successful

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 23, (KUNA): Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said on Thursday that His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah has left the hospital after a successful medical checkup. His Highness the Amir Thursday received a congratulatory cable from His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. In the cable, His Highness the Crown Prince congratulated His Highness the Amir on recent successful medical checkups.

His Highness the Crown Prince also wished His Highness the Amir good health and well-being so that he could continue development in the country. His Highness the Amir had received Wednesday phone calls from several Arab leaders to get reassured about health conditions after undergoing regular medical checkups in wake of catching flu.

Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud phoned His Highness the Amir to check on his health after the medical checkups. In his call, the Saudi King wished His Highness the Amir everlasting health and well-being. In response, His Highness the Amir thanked King Salman on his good sentiments which embodied the strong relations between the two sisterly Gulf nations.

His Highness the Amir, wished King Salman everlasting well-being and wished Saudi people more progress and welfare. His Highness the Amir also received a phone call from Egyptian President Abdulfatah el-Sisi to get reassured about his health. President el-Sisi wished His Highness the Amir everlasting health and well-being.

His Highness expressed appreciation of the Egyptian President’s good sentiments and wished him everlasting well-being and more progress and welfare for the Egyptian people. His Highness also received a phone call from Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani to check on his health after today’s medical checkups. During his call, Sheikh Tamim wished His Highness the Amir everlasting health and well-being.

His Highness the Amir thanked the Qatari Amir for his good sentiments and call which refl ected the depth of the relations between the two nations. He also wished the Qatari Amir everlasting health and well-being and more progress and prosperity for Qatari people. His Highness the Amir received a call from Bahraini Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to check on his health. Prince Khalifa wished His Highness the Amir everlasting health and well-being.

For his part, His Highness the Amir thanked Prince Khalifa for his call and good sentiments, which showed the strong relations between the sisterly nations. His Highness the Amir also wished Prince Khalifa everlasting well-being and more progress and welfare for Bahraini people. His Highness the Amir received Thursday phone calls from a number of top Arab officials to get reassured about his health conditions after undergoing regular medical checkups in wake of catching the flu.

Iraq’s Prime Minister Dr Haider Al-Abadi phoned His Highness the Amir to check on his health after the medical checkups. Al-Abadi wished His Highness the Amir perpetual health and wellbeing. In response, His Highness the Amir thanked the Iraqi Premier on his good sentiments that embodied the strong relations between the two countries and people. His Highness the Amir wished Al- Abadi, Iraqi government, and Iraqi people further progress and prosperity. His Highness the Amir also received a phone call from Lebanon’s Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri to get reassured about his health. Al-Hariri wished His Highness the Amir everlasting health and wellbeing.

His Highness expressed appreciation of the Lebanese Premier’s good sentiments and wished him perpetual well-being and further progress and welfare for the Lebanese people. His Highness the Amir also received a phone call from Prince Khalid bin Faisal Al-Saud, Advisor to Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, to check on his health after medical checkups. During his call, Prince Khalid wished His Highness the Amir perpetual health and well-being.

His Highness the Amir thanked Prince Khalid for his good sentiments and call, which refl ected the depth of relations between the two nations.
