Over 19,000 national workers registered for employment

KUWAIT CITY, June 11: An inside source at the Public Authority for Manpower disclosed to Al-Anbaa the organization's steadfast commitment to advancing electronic systems and expanding services within the "Sahel" application, alongside the "Ashal" service and other electronic platforms provided by the Authority.

According to the source, these efforts align with the Authority's overarching goal to modernize operations, streamline transaction processes, and fully digitize procedures. This comprehensive digital transformation extends to services catering to business owners, covering everything from file initiation to the registration of both national and expatriate workers, as well as needs assessment and inspection procedures.

The Authority has actively launched various platforms to support these objectives, including the "Fakhruna" platform, which facilitates the recruitment of national workers, benefiting job seekers within the private sector. Additionally, the platform facilitates the disbursement of job search allowances, graduate stipends, and unemployment insurance, as well as addressing grievances related to graduate bonuses.

Furthermore, the "Ashal" service enables national workers to conveniently complete 71 automated procedures directly within their respective companies via electronic forms.

Recent statistics from the Authority reveal that a total of 18,853 national workers are currently registered with the Authority for employment opportunities. This diverse pool includes individuals with varying educational backgrounds, ranging from doctorates and master's degrees to secondary education and vocational qualifications.

These ongoing efforts underscore the Authority's dedication to modernizing services, fostering efficiency, and enhancing accessibility within the labor market.
