Municipality inspectors issuing citations in the area

KUWAIT CITY, March 25: Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality carried out a campaign in the vocational area of Abu Fatira, which resulted in the issuance of 22 citations, shutdown of five shops and issuance of 63 warnings, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Director of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality Engr Falah Al-Shammari explained that the Public Hygiene and Road Works Department issued ten citations. The Safety Department issued 14 warnings against the violations of expired safety license and storage in work sites without installation of fences.

The Department of Audit and Follow up of Municipality Services issued eight citations for violations related to unlicensed advertisements displayed by shops and cafés, and closed down two shops.

The Emergency Team issued four citations for violations concerning unlicensed advertisements and closed three shops that were running unlicensed businesses.

Also, four warnings were issued against businesses for encroachment on state properties, and 44 unlicensed advertisements were removed. In addition, the Violation Removal Department issued 45 warnings against encroachment on state properties and violation of safety regulations
