Muslim Brother Thu Thu’aleban, Persian Bin Semaifa’a …

Ahmed Al-Jarallah Editor-in-Chief, the Arab Times

WHAT goes on today in Yemen is similar to what happened there in the sixth century when wars broke out among the tribes. Some tribes sought the help of the Romans and Najashi, the King of Ethiopia who invaded Yemen, destroyed its ancient civilization and killed all mercenaries who sought his support.

The story carries many lessons which shed light on the events that followed. If the Holy Ka’aba was the target of the then King of Ethiopia Abrahah Al-Ashram, today the ancestors of Daws Thu Thu’aleban are repeating the same folly by allying with the enemy of Arabs and Yemen – the Mullah regime that aims to invade the holy land.

During the events witnessed by Yemen and Arab Peninsula at the time, Abdulmuttaleb, Grandfather of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and leader of the Arabs, said the Holy Mosque has a God who defends it against the Army of Abrahah. This is still true today as no power on the planet has ever managed to enter Makkah and occupy it. In the past, God Almighty sent birds which stormed the enemy with baked clay stones. Today, God assigned a powerful Kingdom which possesses all the requirements to defend and protect the holiest places on Earth.

The elephants that Abrahah brought to demolish Ka’aba stopped suddenly on the borders of the holy city as if they were wooden statues. They resemble the primitive missiles launched frequently by the Houthis, targeting Makkah and Saudi cities.

The Yemeni guy, Daws Bin Thu’aleban, sought the help of Ethiopia but the latter occupied his country for 74 years and he paid with his life as the price for his betrayal since the Ethiopians killed him. Dhu Nuwas met the same destiny as he created a war inside Yemen in order to control it. The same story was repeated by Karb bin Semaifa’a who tried to take advantage of the contradictory situations then in order to control a State but he fell into the trap he set for others.

The situations today do not differ from those about 1,500 years ago. Only the names changed while the story is the same. The Houthis are the successors of Sayf ibn Dhi Yazan and his father. They call themselves Supporters of God (Anssarullah). On the other hand, the Reformation Party belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood stepped into the shoes of their ancestors by cooperating with today’s Romans and Ethiopians while the General Popular Conference are playing the game of bin Semaifa’a.

Those who expressed their desire to get out of war and return to the state in South Yemen fell between the fire of divisions, personal interests of some leaders, and ban on terrorism used by their enemies to weaken the Yemeni internal resistance.

Based on this rule, we can deduce lessons from the civil war which forced Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries to form the Arab alliance in order to extinguish the fire of war and prevent it from spreading to other countries in the region.

The second aim is to protect the Arabian Peninsula from the Iranian expansion project as such a project is implemented through mercenaries who sold their homeland to the devil that aims to destroy whatever remains of the Arab and Islamic civilization, or by a suspicious group keen on establishing its own State as mentioned in Muslim Brotherhood references.

A game

I think all Yemenis in the North and South must study the lessons of history and realize how they have lived as slaves under the rule of Ethiopians and Persians just because they sought the support of foreigners against their compatriots.

The Ethiopians cut the throat of Saif bin Dhe Yazan who was a mercenary like his father. History repeats itself. The ongoing developments in the region and the blockade imposed on Iran will prompt the Mullah regime to find a hole to get out of the blockade. The Houthis will be the first card that the Mullah regime will burn in order to reach such hole. The fate of Reformation Party will not be better than that of its colleague once the scale of power between their supporters and opponents changes. The legitimate government will be weaker, because it did not work hard to tackle causes of the disease and remove them.

In addition, the government leaders will continue playing their game to take advantage of contradictions with the aim of extending the war which revives their personal projects and increases their wealth.

The Reformation Party will mostly benefit from the contradictions as it allies with the government on one side and maintains good relations with the Houthis on the other side. The party receives about 540 billion Yemeni riyals while the Houthis steal billions. They even steal the food sent to Yemen. Can any wise man believe that such people will abandon such beneficiaries easily even if the source of beneficiaries is the Yemeni blood?

Based on this fact, it is time for the Arab ally to review its actions in order to find a way for Southern Yemenis to decide their destiny, finally end their link with the North, and leave the latter to face the destiny defined by its leaders as a result of the risks they took, including seeking the support of their enemies against their compatriots.

Without a doubt, the Arabian Peninsula and holy city of Makkah will always be protected by God Almighty who defends the Saudi Army and other GCC armies against Abrahah the Houthi, Reformation Party, al-Qaeda and DAESH. Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries have been protecting the Arabian Peninsula and Makkah throughout history, particularly in the last three decades.
