KUWAIT CITY, May 21: A recent statistic issued by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) revealed that it completed the appointment of 90 citizens in medical, allied health and nursing jobs in Ministry of Health during the period from March 12 to May 19.

The statistic showed that the appointment citizens include 28 physicians and dentists, five prosthetic experts, nine pharmacists, 33 medical laboratory specialists, five nurses, eight nutrition specialists and two health information specialists.

According to sources, despite the disruption of work in CSC due to the COVID-19 crisis, the appointments continued for medical-related jobs, provided the applicants obtained equivalency of the degrees in case they graduated from universities outside the country, due to the need for people with medical specializations in Ministry of Health to deal with the COVID-19 crisis.
