9 deaths and 889 new infection from coronavirus

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 22: Kuwait Ministry of Health reported 9 deaths and 889 cases due to COVID-19. The death toll climbed up to 730 and the infected cases to 119,420, health ministry data showed.
According to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the number of people hospitalized with the virus stands at 7,976; 126 of whom in intensive care units.
Al-Sanad added that 7,976 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hrs, with a total of 857,707 so far.
Meanwhile, some 798 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours to raise the total to 110,714, the ministry said.
