KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: The Ministry of Interior has begun the process of summoning officers including senior officials who have reached the age of 60 and above and those who meet the conditions for retirement, especially after the recent promotions of officers from the rank of colonel to brigadier, reports Al-Rai daily. A source familiar with the issue said a brigadier was summoned and asked to submit a request for retirement.
