5 Egyptians detained over assault

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 5: Five Egyptians have been detained for interrogation for assaulting an unidentified young man over a financial dispute, reports Al-Rai daily.
A security source told the daily when the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a report on the incident police and paramedics rushed to the spot and took the victim to the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital who had a deep cut on his head.
The victim was rushed to the operating table and received nine stitches to close the gaping wound. The source added, the suspects were taken into custody after the victim gave police the description and addresses of the suspects.
