KUWAIT, May 7: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced today 5 commercial stores were shut as they that did not abide by the applicable laws and decisions regarding the relevant procedures to to contain the spread of corona virus.

MOCI said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that its inspection teams monitored 180 cooperative societies, a supermarket, and a simple vegetable shop to determine the extent of their commitment and to maintain the stability of product prices.

The inspection teams monitored 67 catering branches to ensure the smooth flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries.


Emergency center received 165 complaints via the hotline (135) and 23 complaints through the control centers, while the ration cards were renewed and issued for 235 transactions (KUNA)
