KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28:  The Criminal Court, headed by Counselor Abdullah Al-Othman ruled a 4-year prison sentence with hard labor for Bangladeshi MP, Sheikh Mazen Al-Jarrah of Ministry of Interior,  the director of the Public Authority for Manpower Hassan Al-Khader and  and the former candidate of 4th constituency Nawaf Al-Mutairi. 

Also Bangladeshi MP, Al-Jarrah, and Al-Mutairi were fined one million and 970,000 dinars each  while Al-Khader was fined 180,000 dinars reports Al Qabas. The court also decided to dismiss Jarrah and Al Khader from their positions. Two more defendants were imprisoned for 3 years with hard labor. 

MP Saadoun Hammad and former MP Salah Khorshid were acquitted. The defendants had denied accusation against them about human trafficking in exchange of money from the company of Bangladeshi MP. The sources said that there are separate cases on money laundering charges are still being investigated as these two cases are seperate. The first one was of bribery and human trafficking. The money laundering case verdict is yet to be issued.
It is expected that the Public Prosecutor will appeal for maximum punishment whereas the accused will plea for innocence and cancel their conviction against them.
